Packets Stuffed

I can add race packet stuffing experience to my resume. About 400 to 500 runners are expected for the 28th Lunar Rendezvous Run on Saturday morning. I stuffed my share including the packets for pre-registered front runners John Yoder and Tom King Jr. So if they have a problem with their packet, we'll all know who to blame.

My 5.4 mile route that I ran this morning is starting to annoy me at 5 am. The trees and bushes are overhanging into the sidewalk and I have to do a lot of ducking. That's OK if it was not dark and I could see them. Then there is some underpasses for minor hill training that are pretty creepy without any light. Maybe I will find a better lit route for these dark sojourns. I did negotiate the run in 49 minutes with a 143 avg HR.
