Experiment of One

I promised an update when the lab results were in from blood work. Take a man who does no exercise to speak of between ages 40 and 50. Then have him run 1200 miles and 18 months later what do you get? Personal best running and cholesterol results:

Crosstrain's data

July 1995 Total cholesterol >200, good cholesterol 36
October 1999 Total cholesterol >200, good cholesterol 41
2004 & 2005 check-ups More of the same
August 2006 Total cholesterol 183, good cholesterol 55

Being a numbers guy, I can only say damn that is cool. If I drop dead tomorrow they won't blame it on these numbers.......so my experiment clearly supports your doctor's advice that exercise can improve your cholesterol results.

Are you excessive-compulsive? First you out-run me. Now, you're trying to out live me. Will I ever beat you at anything?

I'm not counting you out of either Bill, it is early days yet and you are getting wicked fast. And I think you're already outblogging me.
