It may not have rained in your part of Houston on Sunday morning, but it sure did in Seabrook at 6:30 am for about one hour. We did 11.75 miles anyways including a Kemah bridge loop. I felt wet and chilly, there was a good wind up as well. It was glorious. Pace was low heart rate (avg 129) and we did the mileage in 1:54:31.
Monday evening was a different pace story but the same joyful running. Seven miles in 58 minutes with an average heart rate of only 148. Hope to run like that on Sunday.
It doesn't get much better than this. Or does it?

I think it's actually going to get better.
No wind. Is that better? Hot babe with a cool brew at the end. Is that better?
