Nothing like a relaxing morning on vacation. After my non-fat latte, I treated myself to a recovery massage at Massage Specialists. And it was good. I hope this will get me back out on the roads tomorrow for a 5 to 7 miler. I also got some tips for my planter fascia on my right foot, which is telling me it exists.
The big news in Boulder will be that the men's cross country team upset the favored Wisconsin Badgers today at the NCAA Division 1 championships today in Terre Haute, Indiana. The women came in second to Stanford. Go Buffs!
The Texas men's team came in 7th and the Fighting Irish finished 19th. The Texas Tech women's team came in 6th while the Wolverines finished 3rd. Individual winners were Josh Rohatinsky (BYU) and Sally Kipyego (Texas Tech). Results can be found through Let's Run.
Next Sunday I am very tempted to run the Magnolia Road route that the CU XC team and elite runners use as a high altitude, long training run. It is 14.5 miles at over 8000 feet altitude with a 500 foot elevation gain. Gulp. I think I'd need a HARRA CPR-AED and Watermill Express escort the whole way. So maybe not on this (or any other) visit. I think I'll stick to a mile high, flat long run.

Howdy! don't know if we've met or if you know me by name...I linked to your blog through Junebug's.
I just had to say THANK YOU for the link to the pace calculator on your blog!!! Runner's World used to have one that I used all the time and then they removed it from their website. I haven't been able to find another good one so I'm THRILLED to have one now!
We do alot of the same races... I'll be on the lookout for ya = )
Glad you found it, I use it a lot also. I don't think we've met yet but I'm sure we will one of these runs. Happy Thanksgiving.
