Every Beginning Is Precarious

The title of this blog is a quote from Galloway’s Book on Running, ©2002 by Jeff Galloway. It comes from Chapter Two, The Five Stages of Running, which I have linked for your reading pleasure.

I started anew today as a beginner. I went for a run, two days earlier than planned. Like a beginner should be, I am full of hope and enthusiasm. I jogged a little and I ran a little. 30 minutes at the track, a start of a new me.

I will run my first race on Saturday. There will be setbacks, but I shall prevail. Watch out world, I am a runner.
