Broken Streak

I had my first flat tire since March 2007 while I was cycling on Nasa Rd 1 this evening. Rode 67 miles yesterday with the club at a 18.2 mph pace and did a recovery ride this evening of 12 miles at 17.6 mph pace.

This morning I had mile 9 timing duties at the Half Marathon. Almost all the usual suspects were at the race. Even Edwin, who used to be a runner, was out there in his purple shirt jogging along. Weather was brilliant, times I think were good. Both the social times and the running times.

Caught Jon taking pictures.

If that guy could just get his midsection to look as great as his legs, he might develop into a real runner. :)

Good to see you out there this morning!

Edwin, my midsection.

I've never looked at yours. I leave that up to Donna.

I think it was the orange volunteer shirt that he had on.

And I agree, I'm sure that Joe could do the splits as well as call them out.
