In London. My trip got extended until Monday when I will return to Houston. Fortunately, we did manage to finish up most of our work on Saturday so Sunday is a bit more relaxed. It has been a successful business trip so we are all content.
London is a marvellous city. The weather has been perfect for running, about 60 degrees during the day and partly cloudy. Due to injury, I have had to use all my will power not to run other than a couple of short ones. My workouts have been a daily trip to the cycle machine in the hotel. But I did get in a long walk today on Kensington High Street and in Kensington Gardens. The runners were certainly out and about. I was surprised to see so many bundled up in winter gear.
I love to run when it is cold and would certainly be in only a shirt and shorts in 60 degrees, even if it is breezy and cloudy like today. If there was a race to be run today I would certainly PR in such cool and perfect conditions. My race pace is very much influenced by heat and humidity. I indeed ventured out in my running gear twice this week, no winter gear, and I was not cold at all even when walking.
My wife would like us to have no fixed address after we retire. Wander like nomads through the world, living six months here and six months there. London Kensington would certainly be on my list of places to live for a while. Although it might wipe out our retirement savings as the homes here will cost a fortune to live in. Maybe we can even it out by living in a hut in Vietnam or some other low cost location for the next six months.
London is such a nice place. Good beer, good running, good bookstores, great parks, lively, even a Whole Foods Market on Kensington High Street and Starbucks all over. What more can one ask for?

I agree with your wife! I would love to live the nomadic lifestyle, as long as I am guaranteed running water and enough electricity to use the laptop...
Have fun in London!!
did you get in the MS 150?
Lots of money so you didn't have to work?
Sounds fun, but a bit chilly for me if I'm not mid-run.
