Back Home

"I am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end."

Margaret Thatcher

Since it is election eve, I'm in a Maggie Thatcher mood. Jon and I would probably agree that she is a great lady. I'd vote for her any day. She is 83 and is suffering from dementia, but she will always be a heroine to me.

Well no run today, went to the chiro since my bad leg has bothered me since Friday's run. My injury is now 22 months old. But I will, like Baronness Thatcher, be patient and expect, no demand, to do what I want to do when all is said and done.

I was at a marvellous steak house today for a special event. I ordered the mixed veggies instead of the juicy filet. Sometimes I am just an idiot.

One more Maggie quote

"Standing in the middle of the road is very dangerous; you get knocked down by the traffic from both sides."

Ordering veggies does not make you an idiot. You will be laughing all the way home from the cardiologist.
