The weather that is. I reveled in my bike ride this morning and am flush with good vibrations. My training has been rather sporadic of late, swimming some, cycling less than earlier in the year, hoping to run. So with apprehension I jumped up to the 21mph group today. No problem. 64 miles at an average pace of 20.1mph and an average heart rate 0f 135. Legs were pretty dead at the end, otherwise there is more in the tank.
And I did my eccentric calf stretches afterwards. I will develop calves of steel and run some races in the spring. This will happen.
In other news, there is a run on guns. Seems talk radio is warning us that our new President is going to ban guns. Yeah, I am sure that is top of the list and he has nothing better to do right now. Of course why anyone needs an assault weapon is beyond me. But this all gives me a great idea. The President Elect should threaten to introduce legislation that will make gas guzzlers unavailable in the future. Talk radio hosts can then tell their little lambs to go out and stock up on gas guzzlers.
All those SUVs and big cars will fly out of the American car company showrooms, saving the American car companies who are tottering on the brink of doom. What an economic stimulus idea. I think I should get a cabinet post or at least some advisory role like Warren Buffet.

Good luck in your new position. I hear biking on DC's greenbelt is lovely!
