On A Clear Day

My wife has a sick sense of humor I guess. We are about to watch a movie she rented at Netflix titled "On A Clear Day".

She said, "I got it because it sounds like you might like it".

I said, "I never heard of it" as I pick up the liner to read

"When Frank loses his job, he quickly realizes that, at age 55, he's too old to start a new career but too young to simply start working. Despondent about his life and past mistakes, he decides to take on the ultimate challenge---to swim the English Channel. With support of friends and family, he thinks he can rise to th occasion and bear the physical pain, but is he ready to come to terms with his emotional pain?"

I get it, that must be me honey (although I have not lost my job). Lol. Or maybe now that I have run the marathon, biked the Rocky Mountains, and have started swimming, I need to swim the English Channel. I think she has her eye on my valuable life insurance policy.

I probably never heard of it since I can not imagine one demographic that is interested in watching a movie about a 55 year old guy like this.

I will never understand the mind of a woman.
