Trivia Genius of the Moment

Wooo Hooo, I outsmarted 77 other players in the "Back Room Daily Trivia Challenge" on FunTrivia.com yesterday to win daily honors. The subject was geography and I was the only player out of 78 to successfully answer all 10. This moves me up to 4th place for the month of December out of 102 players.

Today's quiz is Science & Technology. I only got 8 correct, so my genius was fleeting. I was unable to answer

1)"Who suggested the theory of "The multi-store model of memory"? (Atkinson and Shiffrin)
2) "RNA is made from DNA through transcription so the genetic code can be taken out of the nucleus to make proteins. Codons are the result of translation of RNA at the ribosomes. Of the four bases of DNA, which is not represented in RNA?" (Thymine)

But I did get some other tough ones (multiple guess quizzes are sooo cool)

1) On May 22, 1960 the most powerful quake of the 20th century was felt in the South American country of Chile. What was the magnitude of the quake? (9.5)
2) Name a type of cell found in the stomach. (Parietal)

OK, here is one for you to answer

At what marathon has the men's world record been set more often than at any other marathon?

a) Berlin
b) Polytechnic
c) Fukuoka
d) Boston

No googling, the answer on Saturday. The first person to get it correct is the winner. No age group awards.

I'll take the sentimental favorite, for no particular reason: Boston.

Although if I were going to PR I'd try Berlin. But what's logic got to do with it?

Berlin, I think, would appear to be the obvious answer.

But I believe, back in the day, that Fukuoka was the course of choice (Shorter, Rodgers and the ilk). Been wrong before though.

Berlin was my first guess (before I saw Jon beat me to it)...I'll stick with that one
