OK I get it now

I read in one book or journal about how hard it is just to get to the starting line for a marathon. Right. It didn't seem so hard to get to the line for all my other runs in 2005. Guess I needed some comeuppance.

After getting clearance on my knee, the plan was to get a good 1 hour Nordic track workout in on Saturday and get back on my legs running starting Sunday. Well the Nordic track went real well and I did go for a little jog right after to wet my appetite. So low and behold I starting feeling under the weather and woke up Sunday morning with a really bad cold, aches, fatigue and a 99-100 degree fever. No running. Well after a slight improvement on Monday, my temperature is normal on Tuesday and the queasiness is disappearing. I do very much hope to get a nice one hour workout on the high school track on Wednesday.

My mantra will be 'I always run relaxed and joyfully' as I glide through the city streets of Houston on Sunday morning.
