Motor City

Spent two days in Detroit on business and was able to treat my daughter and friend to sushi. The restaurant, Akasaka, on 6 mile road in Livonia was excellent. Nothing like quality salmon, yellow tail, and white tuna that melt in the mouth.

My colleague, a pretty fine runner, challenged me to run harder from the gun tomorrow morning. I usually hold back the first mile or two and ratchet it up. I may give it a try, its only 10k. He has commited to run the Bayou City Classic if I come in under 50 minutes. We'll see, no guarantees other than a PR.
