I'm New Around Here

Or so it seems. It has been sooo long since my last blog and my last run. Perhaps they are one of those things that one never forgets.

My business trip got extended, so I was gone for 12 days. I was looking forward to a nice bike ride last night, but scratched it due to the weather. Drowned my sorrows in two Stone IPAs at Boondoggles.

Decided to take Friday off to recover from 24 hours in door to door travel on Wed/Thursday, got some PT at Koala and hit the Williams Pool this morning.

My leg has improved to a B+. I may start walking on Sunday to begin the re-entry to the running world after a nearly 12 week rest.

I did get a lot of stationary bike work in on my trip. Here's hoping for dry weather so I can join the peloton rides on Saturday and Sunday. I'm clean by the way, no EPO here.

Next BARC race is the Maribelle's 5k in Seabrook on August 4th. It's not as big an event as the Lunar Rendezvous, but I ran it two years ago and loved it. You can register through the On The Run calander. I'll be volunteering.
