Namaste

I am restarting regular yoga practice. I went to the Memorial Athletic Club yoga class this evening at 5:30. It cost me $3 for an hour of pretty good hatha yoga. I was certainly sweating and getting some Core work done.

If I went home from work at that time, it would cost me $3 in tolls on Sam Houston Parkway. After yoga class, I went home I-10 to I-45, saving $3 in tolls.

So the net cost of the yoga class was $0.

Probably spin in the morning before work and head to a jet airplane right after work. Alas, it is not vacation, but a business trip.

Over the weekend, we went and saw the movie Sicko. I was attracted by the fact that I am a supporter of universal health care, based on my experience living in Europe. While the movie does its share of fear mongering, this is the norm in politics of all persuasion these day. It is difficult to imagine that there is a leader around who will make our "All Star Team" via a monument some day.

In the end, a democracy gets the leadership it deserves, so it is up to you and me.
