Gosh Running Is Hard

Tonight I did my first outdoor training run since May 10. Arrived home from Colorado this afternoon and joined the On the Run Tuesday night track workout. No I was not so idiotic to do their 6x800 speedwork session, but I did slip 2 hard 800s (3:30s) in along the way. So chalk up 3 miles at an average 8:33min/mile pace and I felt it.

Cycling is easier. Well most of the time.

My last ride in Colorado was a rolling hill ride on Monday covering 67 miles at a 17.9 mph pace and involving 2300' in elevation gain along the whole route. Nice.

I'll be easing into running again very slowly (like one day a week for October).
