Yesterday my dear Fighting Irish landed their best recruiting class since the Lou Holtz era. Today I ran at Memorial Park for the first time in about 10 months. Memorial Park is rather quiet at 5 am, runners are just starting to show up. I ran 5k in 29:18 with an average HR of 139. Did the first mile in 9 minutes and slowed down from there.
It's a new dawn for the Irish and I. Like a Rebirth Brotha. Laissez le bontemps roulez.
