Presidents Day Solo
Took a vacation day today and rode a windy, sunny 60 miles. The route took me to San Jacinto Monument, the soon to be scene of wild celebration as the Bloggers reign supreme on March 2. Went over the Lynchburg ferry and fought the wind up the causeway to Baytown. Returned back by the Fred Hartman Bridge for my 178 vertical feet of climbing. From there, I took the Space City Cycling Club route to Morgans Point and eventually Todville Road. Final long stretches were on Nasa Rd 1 and Space Center with fond memories of Pub Crawl and USA 10 miler.
