Good Morning

I finally got back to a morning run, which remains easier than the evenings. With the heat index only 78 versus in the 90s, I was able to run 3 miles in 30 minutes with a nice and low 130 average HR.

Two days off may have helped too. Looking forward to running 5, 5, 7 and 3 over the next four days leading into a business trip to France. I will probably break LSD (long slow distance) style training on Monday and do a tempo run in Paris on Monday with a colleague, assuming he is willing to go that slow. This LSD stuff will get boring after a while anyways and I'll soon be itching to run nasty again. On the other hand, my mileage is up quite nicely in June.

I renewed my HARRA and BARC memberships for the next year. I'd like to go to the HARRA Banquet for the St Arnolds brew, the HRB friends, and the Jeff Galloway talk. However, not sure I'll be able to make it.
