Atlanta Fell to Sherman Today in 1864
The northern power from Indiana under General Charlie Weis has arrived in Atlanta for a reenactment of the Union victory. In 1864, each side lost over 30,000 soldiers until the Army of Tennessee under Confederate General John B Hood evacuated on September 1. Atlanta was taken on September 2.
Will the South rise again in 2006 or will the Union be once more victorious?
Are you ready for some college football?
