"Once you start running, you stick to it, whether you are good or bad. If you fall into it, you're going to get hooked." Hendrik Radmaala quote from Running Times, November 2006
The Good
1) Fine weather.
2) 15 miles this morning in 2:32.
3) Running with BARCr's Terry, Veronica, and Bill.
4) Being able to run as fast as a pregnant woman, Veronica, who went for 12 of the 15.
5) The full moon at 6:30 am.
6) The 7:00 am red sky over Galveston Bay as we ran in Pine Gully Park in Seabrook.
7) 4 miles yesterday and 90 minutes of yoga.
8) ND victory and cracking back into the top ten.
9) 10 miler race next weekend with a chance to see many HRBr's.
The Bad
1) Our "Blogfather", Jon Walk, deciding to back away from his blogging and running involvement. There is not another runner that has inspired me more than Jon due to his great passion, heart, and ethic. Long may you run Jon.
The Ugly
1) The idiot driver who passed the pack of about 50 cyclists on the two lane Todville Road in Seabrook this morning while we were running the trails. The jerk was honking his horn and seemed to be complaining about a pack of cyclists sharing the road, even though they have every right and they were clearly going the speed limit. I'd imagine the driver is so lazy that he parks in handicapped spots without a tag to save a few difficult steps across a parking lot. He was probably in a hurry to get to the Waffle House on 146 for his All Star Special of 2 eggs, grits, toast (extra butter), jelly, waffle, sausage (2) and a side order of smoothered and covered hash browns. Oh I forgot the Diet Coke for his health.

My boss was at the ND game this weekend. I was so glad they won! Because ND is an Indiana school of course, and because my boss will be in a great mood on Monday!
Go Irish! Go Blue!
sounds like a perfect morning. As to the idiot driver (who was probably of Michigan pedigree), show him what patience looks like :)
Joe, I'm curious... what time are you shooting for on the USA 10-miler?
Bill
Ugh, I bike on Todville but I'm always scared of getting run off the road!
