Keep It Moving

Weather is too nice to be a slug.

Sunday evening at the Seabrook trails 3.3 mile run at 9 minute pace, 140 avg HR

Monday evening at the Terry Hershey & George Bush trails, 15 mile bike ride in 55 minutes, 137 avg HR

No swimming this week as my road rash heals, they are coming along fine.

Wore a boot to keep my right foot at a 90 degree angle while I slept last night. That was weird. A BARC friend lent it to me. Leg did not feel too bad today in spite of yesterdays run. Maybe I will get in 10 miles of running in one week without aggravating my injury. Pretty please.

Registered for Law Week 8k and Bellaire Trolley 5k. Will be taking it easy, no racing, just inching forward one day at a time.

Joe,

I've been sleeping in a Strassburg sock for a little while now. Same idea--keeps your foot at a 90 degree angle. I will say that I can really tell the difference when I don't sleep in it for some reason--I feel so much better when I get out of bed on the days that I wear it. Took some getting used to, though...

Bummed that the Irish flamed out so early. I had a feeling that they would, but I still picked them to the Elite 8. Went with my heart.
