Who'll Stop The Rain

I was all set up to run with a friend at 5:45 at Terry Hershey Park. Wouldn't you know it that the rains came and the friend did not show, either due to the weather or us not confirming it. So I read some work materials that I needed to finish tonight anyways. I figured I'd wait it out and maybe join the Striders run at 7 (even before seeing Steeeeve's invite).

I thought it would blow over, but it started down even worse at 6:30 with no sign of tapering. I gave up at 6:45, but only because of the lightning. I did get my work done. I should work in a park gazebo more often.

There were a few runners braving the elements, needing to get it done. For once I was not one of them.

Swim Friday, Bike Saturday, Run Sunday for a tri weekend.

I was at TH at 6:55 to shoo people away...rain, wet track, lightning = no running. Jim was there as it looked OK when he left his house. He stayed for shooing duties and I did my 6 easy at MAC while watching the Rockets. Life is good (except for the Rockets part, and they'll take care of that tomorrow).
