Well the Games of the Eighth Olympiad BARC Pub Crawl came to a close yesterday afternoon at the Turtle Club. 9 establishments, 7 miles, 80 runners, gold medals for all.
If you want to know more about what happens on the Pub Crawl, you have to run it. The ninth edition will be the Saturday before Labor Day 2009.
In addition to running 7 miles yesterday, I got up this morning and did 51 miles on a club ride at 19.9 mph. Nothing better for a hangover than an intense 2 hour and 30 minute bike ride.

If this is an "Olympic" Pub Crawl shouldn't it be held every four years? Or at least alternating with a Pub Crawl in the Summer and then one in the Winter?
I hung out at Boondoggles for awhile. Alas, not a runner (crawler) to be seen.
