And promptly went out for a 23 mile ride this afternoon over one of my favorite routes on my own (Bay Area Blvd - Port Rd - Todville Rd - Kemah Bridge - Todville Rd - Nasa Rd 1 - Space Center Blvd - Middlebrook). Going to ride both Saturday and Sunday morning, although I am toying with sneaking in a 3 mile run Sunday morning beforehand (BARC group run at Seabrook trails).
Came back on Friday since I was too cheap to spend $200 more to come back Saturday, Sunday or Monday. My wife is staying in CO until Tuesday, so I am holding up the home front by my lonesome. I do wish Boondoggles had a veggie burger....my favorite so far is at Beck's Prime.....as I wouldn't mind a trip over there this evening. It must the holiday spirit for spirits.
Speaking of food I did have a bunch of Tofurky yesterday and one bite of turkey as we had Thanksgiving meal with friends. The tofurky was not bad at all, though I am not sure I could eat it often. It is rather rubbery in constituency. All the rest of the traditional meal was consumed, including stuffing, cranberry sauce, a pear pie and pumpkin mousse. Lot's of wine as well. Yum.
Afterwards we watched the movie Wall-E, which was really cute. Our friends have a young child, so a Disney movie fit the bill. Never heard of the movie, but we don't pay much attention to Disney these days.
James Bond movie's on the other hand, we do pay attention to and my son and I saw it this week. I liked it. Then again I like all 007 movies.
