Maybe I Did Choose the Right Orthopedic Surgeon

The ortho who looked at the MRI of my achilles in January is Dr Tom Clanton. He is a foot and ankle specialist, which is why I went to him. Since that time, he operated on Yao Ming's foot. Now ESPN reports at this link that he will operate on the achilles of Liu Xiang, the former world record holder and Olympic champion in the 110 meter hurdles. Liu seems to have a bone spur problem between his ankle and his achilles. You may recall that Liu could not compete in this year's Olympics due to his injury. This was a great disappointment to the Chinese since he is one of their biggest stars.

I was thinking of going back to him in the New Year if my current treatment doesn't work out.
