Williams Pool

I went to the Williams Pool in Clear Lake for the first time today. A continuous 1000 yard swim in 24:55 was the result. My swimming endurance is steadily improving and I hope to keep it going. I've already swam more distance this month than any month of my life.

The Pay your Dues, Predict Your Time run on Saturday was a lot of fun. I got to be official timekeeper for the first time. There is something to be said about sitting on your rear while everyone else is running in a summer time race. We had so many prizes that everyone won something, even our very own Sarah. A truly egalitarian race. Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite!

Alas I leave on a jet plane for at least ten days. The blog will most likely be neglected for the whole period. My workout gear is packed, so I'll be swimming, gym biking and maybe even walking in preparation for jogging in July.
