Cold and Breezy

Got out my winter cycling gear this morning, which is part my running winter gear and part cycling gear. Cycling needs a bit more knee and finger protection due to wind chill.

Tough ride today with the faster crowd, I fought the wind and the wind won. Dropped on the way to the Lynchburg Ferry with a few others. Caught up at the Ferry. Dropped on the way to the Fred Hartman Bridge in Baytown and then really dropped on the bridge itself. Caught up at the one stop in LaPorte at a service station. Dropped for the third time in Shoreacres, caught back up at the light on 146. Still 50 miles in the log at 146 avg HR and at 18mph.

I had a day like Tony Romo and Edwin's Dallas Cowboys. Not quite right. Jessica Simpson was pouting in her pink number 9 Cowboys jersey in the stands. Well my buddy Veronica will be happy since the Cowboys lost and the Packers won in spite of a measly 50 yards or so running the football.

What does the Green Bay Packers have in common with Crosstrain? They've got no running game, but they're damn good anyways. :)

Go Packers, Go Crosstrain. The bike is on the trainer in the basement.
