I Am So Pumped

On May 26 I will run the Bolder Boulder for the third time. It seems that Deena Kastor and Ryan Hall will run there also, in the elites International Team Challenge after the Citizen's Race. So we'll get to see these great athletes race! How cool.

The official starter for the race will be a cyclist, Dave Phinney. Dave is a Boulder native with Parkinson's disease. He won a bronze medal at the 1984 Olympics and was the first American to win a Tour de France road stage.

All that is motivation for a cycling runner. Maybe I'll get a PR, 48 minutes should be possible if I am rested, even at altitude. Run Joe Run.

In the meantime I rode 22 miles in 21.3 mph with the club this evening, 150 avg HR.
