"Citius, Altius, Fortius, Cervisia"
"Swifter, Higher, Stronger, Beer"
In accordance with tradition, we call upon the youth (and former youth) of the world to assemble on August 23 at 11 am at Carlos's Beer Garden and finish at the Turtle Club to celebrate the Games of the VIII Olympiad BARC Pub Crawl. 10k, 7 pubs, 80 runners. Got your Ironfoot? Go for your Ironliver.
"The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have drunk well."
Her Royal Highness, Emperess Gaslight, ruler of all running in Houston asked if there was beer after the Bolder Boulder. Indeed there is one free one redeemable on your bib. Beyond that it is expensive stadium beer, or in our case, cases of great Colorado microbrew in a refrigerator waiting at the 5.1 mile mark on the course. Although not Hashers, we had no trouble finding the beer after our finish.
Still cycling.
Gogol Bordello makes some sweet Pub Crawl music.

Perhaps I should pencil in this worthy event! I have 2 months to teach my car to drive to Clear Lake.
