About the weather that is. I ran a sweltering 3 miles (instead of a desired 6) at an 8:30min/mi pace at Memorial this evening and it sucked. Will it ever snow? I want to break out the winter running gear NOW and shiver at the starting line. Anyone have an igloo to curl up in?
Don't forget, however, that all whining must stop a few days before the half marathon.
Sorry I could not make it to Boondoggle's Jamoosh as I left the west side of town at 6 pm. I do present you with this link to the top 25 craft beers in America as rated by Men's Journal. We should reward ourselves with one for each race we do, until the list has been exhausted, which should get us through a year. Then we can start again with next year's list. Of course we may not be able to get all of them in Houston, but I can think of a few substitutes. Looks like it could be time for a Spec's outing this weekend.

Great race, no, I mean beer strategy, guys.
I whined all day yesterday about my 5 miles in the jungle weather. I'm almost over it now, though. This morning is a good start
past experience tell me bell's beer rocks. it is wicked popular up here in meeeechigan. although i could've sworn it was out of kalamazoo. good luck with the list boys
Or we come up with our own list. I too will be making a Spec's run this weekend. Probably the Bay Area or League City location.
